Louis,
Non
it's not a 2D pictures converted in 3D but it can be called a "3D format",
it's a textual scene description that define for every object its shape, size,
orientation, position in space, color, texture.
It
also describes the light sources and -most important- the position (and other
characteristics too) of the virtual camera that will take a snapshop of the
scene.
This
is pretty complex scene, the size of all the scene files is over 100 MB
!!! You will then understand why it is so slow to compute the stereo
picture!
You
can download them at the link I've provided in my previous mail, download the
standard POVRay, StereoPOV and you will then be able to produce exactly the same
picture!
Here
is a picture made with StereoPOV that is part of my MGVMPISA slideshow "Dogs
love stereo too!".
Pierre.
Its fantastic - super ! I´m curious as to the time ? What is your
original, one 2D image or a special 3D format WHAT WHAT WHAT ?
Louis.
