Here's my Sunday night shots.  Talk about a spread, Venus and Jupiter were relatively close but it was the distance to Mercury which necessitated going to such a wide angle.

Well done considering.  I was a little disappointed when I went outside and saw how spread out the planets were from the moon.  Still, it's an unusual display worth seeing at least with the naked eye.  I took some photos tonight but got home from a visit to another state a little late for a twilight type of shot.  I'll process them later and see what I got.

This is the best shot I could get last night (2D), taken on our first break:

Will try again Sunday evening if it's clear.

I understand this should be good for both Sat. and Sun.  Up here, it's rather cloudy but it's been very windy all day.  Maybe it will be clear enough either today or tomorrow.

Oh, yes, I'm very aware of it...I'm hoping it clears up enough here to shoot it.  With any luck one could include Mercury along with Venus, Jupiter, and the Moon although it (Mercury) is very close to the horizon.  Further complicating matters is the fact that I have a wedding reception to play which starts at 7:00 p.m.  May have to shoot before it starts, or during breaks.

Well!  This might be right you your alley then, so... I'm guessing you already are aware of it...

Planets Align February 25: Venus, Jupiter, Moon To Converge.

CAPE CANAVERAL, Florida (AP) ? Stargazers of the world are getting a treat this weekend. On Saturday and again Sunday, Venus, Jupiter and Earth's moon converge for a brilliant night show. Venus and Jupiter already are lining up in the western sky.

I already thought about the heaters... I think most toasters may let you hold the handle down to bring the heaters on even if not pushed all the way down, plus they may stay lit for a second before cooling off after it pops up.  As for the toast, maybe you can just place bread in the slots and not push the handle down for a similar effect.  If none of this works, it may be time to get a new toaster!  : )

You might be right but my toaster has a weak popper-upper.  You actually have to lift the handle to get the toast out, plus, once it pops up the heaters go out.

Good idea.  I think there's a possibility it may look even better with a couple of pieces of toast coming up toward the viewer in a TTW version.  You may even be able to keep some of the heating elements visible.

My toaster...from above...sans bread!
