Two weeks ago I was on the Erta Ale volcano in Ethiopia. This anaglyph version does not do justice to the different hues of red-orange but it's not so bad...
This a one of the very few places on Earth where you can see an active lava lake.
It's not easy to go there but the sight is incredible. You stay mesmerized watching the movements of the lava.
It's here:http://www.stereoscopie.fr/php/showonmap.php?pickPoint=1&coords=40.660303,13.603243,0&cmt=Erta%20Ale

The level of the lake is not constant and I was lucky enough that it was rather high (it has overflown 15 months ago)
This picture was taken not long after sunset with a pair of Canon S95 + SDM and long USB cables.
Stereo base is about 1.50 m which cause a reduction of the perceived size.
The lake is about 80-90m wide and the surface is about 15 m below the large flat area where you can walk.
