This is the way the Moon, Venus, and Jupiter grouping appeared over the Louisville area last night:

A friend of mine who lives in San Diego, CA (another 3D nut) tried an experiment in which we both shot pictures of the Moon, Venus, Jupiter grouping at the same time (10:30 p.m. EDT and 7:30 p.m. PDT).  We expected our nearly 2000 mile separation to show the Moon shift position with respect to the planets.  We were right!  This gif animation shows the differences, the CA position being the left Moon image, my IN image on the right. 
 
 
A combination of these images shows a 3D effect, with the Moon appearing appropriately closer:

This is, without a doubt, the widest base stereo picture I've ever taken!
