Yes, those are sunspots, huge storms on the sun that show up as black only because they are cooler than the rest of the surface.  They are actually white-hot.  There were are least five groups visible today, a bonus to add to the Venus transit.

Nice work Wojtek.  I took a few pictures during sunset.  I was surprised I could see Venus within the diameter of the Sun although it was difficult to look at it.  I don't expect my images to come out like yours that's for sure.
 
Do you or Duke know what the two other faint dots are near the center?  My first assumption is solar spots from the Sun itself?
