Thanks, Mark.  The Canons were 12 inches apart, so the distant parts of the scene (including the clouds) appeared flat.  I used some manipulation to show depth in the far background and clouds to give it more "pop", as you say. 

I'm even more pleased with the 2D version taken with my other Canon (SX40) which has a much wider angle lens, and shows a much broader range of the sky.  Hopefully you can see it, just below:

Great shot, Duke.  Looks a little hyper, which really makes the clouds pop.  How far apart do you have the Canons?
