Each year, The National Model Train Association holds an expo in a different city. This year it was held in my hometown of Grand Rapids, MI. on Aug 3rd, 4th, and 5th. Although model trains are not on my list of hobbies, I thought that the show would provide good subject matter for my photography addiction. To my surprise, many thousand people were there all weekend. I do not have enough room at my home to support a hobby such as this, but I do enjoy building a few remote controlled model airplanes during the winter months.
