Look how artistically this guy molded his '56 Mercury. I fell in love with the car the minute I saw it last weekend at the Michigan Street Rod Nationals. The front end is equally well done.
Continental kits, which were all the rage back then, were numerous at the show. There was "wall to wall" fifties doo-wop music. I was so "taken in" by the event that I forgot to eat. By the time I returned home, I was exhausted and could do nothing but "crash". I know that this image is a little "ghosty", but I wanted to share it with you despite that flaw.
