Fishing Hatchery
Ray expressed an interest in seeing the man-made ponds mentioned earlier in
3D or otherwise. There are two ponds which are side by side and
too large for me to get them both completely in one shot. I took shots of
each pond which are basically the same so I'll just post this one which was on
the left side. I purposely gave it more stereo base than I normally would
have because the scene is mainly flat and the trees are in the distance. I
did a 3-shot cha cha for later testing/selecting for depth in the processing
stage. I used the first two shots for the X-View (more stereo base), and
the 2nd and 3rd shot for the anaglyph (shots 1 & 2 were too hyper for the
anaglyph format). Both stereo formats are still hyper however. In
the X-View I replaced the blank sky for a little more interest and it also
helped define more depth which the basically flat scene could use. In the
anaglyph version I kept the blank sky but cropped it closer from both the top
and bottom. The hyper-ness increased the deviation but I think they are
both fairly easy to fuse.
