Larry,
 
I still had the image up in IrfanView so I inverted it with the "Negative" feature.  It did indeed turn the flowers to blue but I then began tweaking the Blue, Green, and Red under "Color Balance" to hues that I liked a little better while the image was inverted.  All of the tweaks ended up on the left (negative) side of zero according to my preference while observing the changes.  This is the result.

Brian a very nice shot, I wonder what a negative version would look like? I believe it would add more depth and change the yellow flowers to a pretty blue.
