At around 8:00 a.m. we landed in Freeport, and after
going through customs, boarded a shuttle bus on our way to our vacation spot,
the Island Seas Resort.
Even though I was aware of how they drive down there,
it was still a bit disconcerting as we rode along, what in the States would be
the wrong side of
the road..the left side.
Our driver told us that here in the Bahamas "we drive
on the left side. but if you Americans insist on driving on the right side, it
will
be more
like suicide!"
When we arrived we couldn't immediately check into our
house, so after stashing our bags we walked along the beach. The ominous
sky
offered a great opportunity for a dramatic shot, and
this was the result.
