Tree Service
Thanks to those who commented on my previous
posts!
Shortly after Super-storm Sandy, I got an estimate to remove two trees
damaged by storms, plus another close to and leaning toward the house. It
also included trimming some limbs from other trees, and stump removal.
I have a friend who wanted the locust trees for firewood since it's very
hard wood and is excellent for firewood. He had already removed the half
of the tree that came down with the storm back in November. The image
shows one of the 7 man crew who scaled the remaining portion of the tree damaged
by the latest storm.
Since I'm within 100 feet of water (White's Cove), they also had to obtain
a permit which says I'm to plant three saplings or bushes but they can be
anywhere on my property and I have 12 months to plant them.
The tree service cut up the remaining trees they fell into 18 inch sections
and mulched the smaller branches. It's cheaper for them to leave the big
stuff and my friend wanted it anyway.
Of course the W1 would not show a lot of depth from this distance. I
cloned the one tree and man for a touch more depth even though it's still not a
great deal. I thought the anaglyph would show more depth than the
X-View so I'm including the 3dXchange group in this anaglyph post as well.
