"Just a little off the top"
Part of the deal I made with the tree trimming company was to remove some
dead limbs from my oak tree. I've been worried about one dead limb in
particular hanging over my electric and telephone lines to the house that could
have come down in a storm.
They could not use this "cherry picker" in the other yard but they were
able to reach and trim some lower hanging limbs from my black gum trees on the
side yard (right of the house and out of view from this shot). The house
partially in view here is my neighbor's house. I kiddingly tell people my
house looks like it could be his garage!
Because of the W1's narrow 3 inch stereo base and distance to the
subject, the depth is more subtle than what some may prefer. In
addition, the back lighting almost turned it into a silhouette. The
image was treated correspondingly in PS and I decided to only create an
anaglyph so the depth and details are optimized.
