This is an oxidized bronze sculpture and it was an entry in last year's Artprize competition in Grand Rapids. The figures are connected in a semi-circle fashion, and they were mounted to a plain grey vertical wall at the two most rearward figures. They were probably, I'm guessing, twenty inches tall. I felt sorry for the artist because the display venue included other art entries which distracted from this piece. I fooled around with this image last night and thought that the grey wall needed something more to make the sculpture stand out. I tried to keep it simple. So, here it is. Nikon D7000 cha cha, Sigma wide angle lens, SPM, PS Cs6, Stereomasken. I am really looking forward to Artprize again this year. I have not missed one yet. It is always full of surprises. Thanks for looking. Ray |
