Step 3. Now that the area or
areas to be corrected are properly surrounded by the Lasso Tool go to the Menu
Bar at top and select
Image>Adjustments>Levels. A Levels box
will appear as shown. Select eye dropper at right (the one that
appears
to be unfilled) and move the
eyedropper to a representative spot in area #1 and gently touch or tap. The
greenish tints in the surrounded
areas should immediately turn
white, or a hue close to white. In most cases this change should occur
simultaneously to all encircled
areas. If the spot chosen
doesn't produce desired results go to Undo and re-apply the eyedropper at
another nearby spot.
If the change is satisfactory,
click on any area outside those that are encircled and the dotted lines will
disappear. If only the one
of several encircled areas
changed, re-lasso the unchanged area and re-apply the technique as
described.
