I keep this dried rose (of 13 years now), in a vase, on the window sill in my kitchen where it greets the morning sun each day. I received it the day of my Mother's funeral and forgot it was in the back floor of my car for a month. That's how it dried.
Recently, I was in the kitchen and happened to notice how the sunlight was striking it through the window. I had a piece of cardboard that I had already painted white on one side. I placed the cardboard behind the dried rose but far enough behind it to still catch the light through the window. I took a series of cha cha shots with my Pentax K10 DSLR. Here is one pair combination aligned with SPM and a little cloning because of a mis-match in size. There is some slight bokeh in the composition. I decided to bring it TTW for your enjoyment.
