We finally had a few days of nice
weather! My wife and I enjoyed a trip across Puget Sound to Kingston, WA, for lunch. Here are some snapshots of the view along the way.
Shot #3: After lunch, soon after the ferry departed Kingston on the return trip, I shot this view looking SE. The distant shore is approximately 7 miles away, the building
tops in downtown Seattle are about 14 miles (the top of the Space Needle is barely visible on the right, behind the 3 TV station towers), and Mt Rainier is about 70 miles. I used full zoom on G12 (140 mm equiv.), tripod, continuous-shooting mode, and selected 2 shots taken approximately 13 seconds apart.
