Thanks for your comments on the previous posting of the insect hill everyone. Last year I was stung on several occasions from ground bees in the other yard and I was in pain for a week each time. I'll try to be cautious in this area also now. I'm told you can cover the hole with a bucket and the insects will eventually dehydrate. Maybe I'll try that if I discover the hole again.
This is a shot of another statue found in Mount Vernon Place when I attended the Flower Mart. Because of the sunlight at that time of day I thought photographing the head only would yield a better result. The trees in back were out of sync since it was a cha cha and there was a breeze so I extracted the background to eliminate that distraction. I incorporated a gradient replacement and retouched the outside edges of the lion via SPM to sync both chips.
