After the most brutal winter in
memory, my wife, Marge and I returned to our resort site in Freeport, the
Bahamas. This time we
shared our vacation with a trio
of friends who arrived a few hours later. In a way I was on a mission
because I brought along some 3-D portraits
I had taken last year and I
wanted to hand-deliver them as gifts to their unsuspecting
subjects.
Our flights, although
without glitches left me tired and famished after traveling without food
for nine hours, including a commuter train ride to the
Philadelphia
airport. Immediately upon
occupying our resort condo and unloading our bags we were off to gulp down
lunch. From then on most everything was
as it was supposed to be,
a one-week stay in Paradise.
