A WALK IN THE
SUN
While the entourage idles away
their time on beach chairs I become restless, and for me the only cure is to
snatch my W3 and
search for photo-ops. An
overcast day, I realize that pictures will suffer from a lack of contrast so I
take to my sunglasses,
covering both lenses in order to
punch-up the view. In effect I create my own, rather than use some digital
filter to obtain
a special effect.
Once back home in New York State
I can work on contrast and sharpness in order to completely fulfill the shot as
envisioned.
I can't even expect that others
will like the final rendition, but in my mind, success is achieved.
