...Another great classic, Brian. Self portraits via car reflections are sometimes hard to avoid. I have taken thousands of pictures of myself in this manner. Maybe you did not notice, but you also appear in the bumper, although VERY distorted. Good shot. Lots of reflections on this shiny car, but they are all under control. I think that the shade of the tree helped a little, as well as you taking the picture on the shady side of the car. This particular car was one of the favorites of customizing hobbyists. It was easy to lower it to just a few inches off the ground. "Chopping" the roof about three or four inches was also common. These days, the preferred approach to doing this kind of work is complete restoration, resulting in the type of car shown in your image in its original appearance. Great shot, Brian. Right now, I am working on an
image of a '48 Mercury, but probably will not have it done for a few days. ...Too many irons in the fire. Last night, my mom fell and hurt herself at the home where she is staying. I spent several hours with her at the hospital. She will be fine, but it interrupted a quiet evening at home. It is amazing how long a hospital visit for two x-rays and three stitches can take. We just celebrated mom's 90th birthday two days ago. I'll share some pics of that event when I get a chance. Ray --- On Fri, 5/31/13, Brian Wallace <Starg82343(-at-)hotmail.com> wrote:
