In response to my wife's son's
invitation we joined his family in a trip to the Gettysburg National Battlefield
in Pennsylvania. From his home it was a 2-1/2-hour
drive to the site. Being a
Civil War enthusiast I was anxious to re-visit the area that I hadn't seen since
1996. I also took on the role as Tour Guide,
and I suggested that the first
stop should be the Visitors Center.
My first impression of this
new Visitors Center was its cavernous size!
