Marshall, I think you are correct, it does look like the Spanky in the 1994 movie, thanks.

My guess is that this doll is inspired by the "Spanky" of the 1994 "Little Rascals" movie release and not that of
Spanky McFarlane as featured in the 1930s-40s "Little Rascals," AKA "Our Gang" comedy movie shorts. Nonetheless,
it's a good stereo, although I would prefer a more up-close version.
