To the Group--
It's now apparent to me that a
good number of active members have either singly or collectively decided to
ignore my postings by providing no comments,
this, in apparent personal
feelings against me, rather than because of the content of
my actual pictures. I have adopted similar actions toward some
members, but not for the
same reason. I've
refrained from commenting on certain members' postings because they have stated
strong objections to some of my critiques, and to
avoid hurting their feelings,
I've decided to avoid animosity by posting no comments about their
works.
I'm not going to go into a
series of apologies since I have always provided heartfelt and thoughtful
analyses of members' works, and not just the standard comment, "nice" anaglyph.
On one occasion long ago I
wrongfully attacked a member personally, but soon apologized to him and the
Group. In addition I have also acknowledged
when members pointed out
factual errors in some of my presentations. Other than as listed, I owe no
regrets to anyone since it has always been my intention to
be informative and helpful,
while refraining from making personal statements aimed at a member.
Having been personally invited
to join Anaglyphs by its founder at the time of the Group's inception I'm
opting to stay on and remain active. I was inactive
for about one year due to
personal problems as previously stated. However I never
unsubscribed.
I intend to remain active by
continuing to post stereos, while commenting of those who post but don't take
such comments personally. I'll post even if no one
chooses to provide comments on
my works. Now it's time for me to carry on!
