Thanks for commenting Wojtek.
I was wondering when you'd pop back into our group.

Cheers,

Before I was caught trespassing on the grounds of the Altoona Banquet estate, I was taking pictures of flowers there when I heard a "plop" behind me.  Apparently a robin, for what ever reason, was injured or sick and dropped from the roof of the banquet hall building onto the concrete walk below.  It was struggling to become stable b ut I doubt if it survived much longer.  I took the opportunity to get some close shots of the bird with my D600 and a couple with the W1 although difficult to capture it completely upright.

I was able to create a stereo pair using cha cha images taken with the D600 although it required a bit of cloning but I thought this image with the W1 was better overall.  I was afraid getting too close with the W1 would distort the image too much.  I did not touch the animal.

W1, SPM, PS CS6.
