Midway through the anti-fracking
rally that I attended in Albany, New York less about two weeks ago I briefly
left the site in
search of some food and drink
and a little relief.
Albany is the capital city
of the State of New York (as opposed to New York City). There was no time
to explore
residential areas of the city,
so I was limited to the area that contains most of the state's governmental
buildings, most of which
appeared starkly monolithic,
huge, and impersonal. This is the first of seven views I hastily made
before making my way back
to the rally.
Most of the structures bore no
identifying names, so I can offer little by way of additional
commentary.
