Buses are old and slow, trips are long so stops are welcome to stretch your legs but if you want to stay in the bus you can just wave through the window to one of the many sellers for a snack or a refreshing beverage.
There is a Mayan archaeological site nearby "El Puente" but many visitors -including myself- ignore it and go instead to the famous site of Copan, listed on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
