A while back I posted our local
"Double T Diner" and mentioned I would like to go back and try
photographing it at night to get the lights and reflections.
I'm not
very experienced with night shots and used my new Nikon D600 set on
"Night Landscape" for this cha cha. It was hand-held and the shutter
was a slow release. Some of my attempts suffered from being hand-held
with this setting but this cha cha came out the best for sharpness even
though it could have been better. Of course it's unfortunate that the anaglyph could not show the true Reds and Blues that were the original colors.
The 24mm lens worked well for this type of wide subject but I was left with a lot of empty space above and below the diner so I cropped the top and bottom portion that had no 3D elements. After taking some pictures, I decided to go in and have "breakfast", (which you can order 24 hours a day), but they do have other meals besides breakfast. I ordered the "Double T Diner special" which ran about 15 bucks. I became stuffed and couldn't manage to eat the last few bites.
It was around 11pm when I entered and was a bit surprised to see several families with young kids at that hour which should have been well past their bedtime.
Cheers,
Brian
