Basically I just framed them the same and made the backs of the cameras as parallel as I could. The farther apart they are the more difficult it is to align them perfectly. Fortunately, with Photoshop you can readjust things as necessary. The farthest apart I have ever set up two tripods was about 150 yards. I made this shot about 23 years ago in the Mojave Desert, using 2 medium format cameras (Yashicas) with Konica infra-red film. I call it "Clouds over the Silurian Hills."
