I was the one that sent the Bryce image. Yours does look like it was made in  a 3D program.Nice one.

Made this out of aluminum a few years back. One of the recent Bryce postings looked somewhat similar.
This is about two inches across, and is actually spherical on the three axis, with two holes bored through each face.
