Hello Duke,

Good mirror self portrait (may be a small light spot on your mirror eyes to see also you and Lumix reflexion on your eyes, but easy to say not to doo ;-).

Did the Lumix is always available ? I would like to buy one like the lenses space permit much more narrow subject than my two Fuji W1.
I think a 3D public camera starting 3D must have narrow lenses space, because generally the first shoot are portrait, friends around a table or similar narrow subject.
During film camera a similar was the SUPER DUPLEX with 3 cm lenses space (120 pro film giving two 24x24 mm L/R). With a close-up big lenses on the two camera lenses very narrow subject was possible.
There is something I do not understand for factory building 3D public camera, why do not built a 8 lenses camera with touching lenses and a program to make
a selection of the best stereo base 1-2 or 1-3 or 1-8 depending of the first plan subject and a similar camera will be ready for free of glasses 3D-TV and monitor having 8 frames.
8 frames are also use generally by many lenticular printer, like for the French magazine bellow PREMIERE speaking of movies. Impressive lenticular result (shoot in cha-cha mode of the cover with my Fuji).
GDGD
The Fuji W1 and W3 having only two lenses for Fuji lenticular print was stupid (something like the virtual camera bellow improved sale to public for better lenticular print). The depth of Fuji lenticular print sample made with two lenses only was so poor and lateral move so bad (two frames not enough for lenticular) than I never send to Fuji lab in Japan any files L/R.
There is pro lenticular soft to calculate many intermediary frame between two only in order to get 8 - 10 - 60 frames, but apparently Fuji don't know. I send a letter to Fuji France (like reseller) to advise Fuji Japan but I believe they never send to Fuji Japan.
NIMSLO camera with four lenses for lenticular giving better lenticular print and if use of a amateurish lenticular soft to print yourself result was x3 time better than NIMSLO print.
Today the cost to produce a digital camera will permit much more lenses and the Dr Lo (making with Mister Nim the NIMSLO) show on the web some years ago a new digital camera and is new lenticular digital lab for photographer shop (see picture down), he was searching a sponsor to produce... but no news since. May be because the Tsunami in Japan and the world crisis :-(

Can be done on the Lumix too.
New digital Dr Lo camera.. the pro model for wedding photographer with add of two lenses will be great for public 3D camera (but more smaller, flat like an I phone and with soft to made automatic selection of the the twin best stereo base 1-2 ; 1-5 ; 1-8 (depending of distance) and for 3D TV free of glasses on our face (but "glasses" lenticular decoder on TV, so to say "free of glasses" is not right like there is glasses on TV) the soft keep all the 8 frames. So each shoot will make a 8 frames like MPO for lenticular 3D-TV and 8 single jpeg pictures.
Dr Lo with his 3 lenses amateurish camera (not enough lenses in my opinion)
Much better is his pro camera, but add of two more lenses will permit use for 3D-TV lenticular (generally 8 frames).

So I wait a similar 3D camera come on the market I use sometime two Fuji Cameras (a Fufujiji) like bellow, this permit me to choice the best stereo base or to built with Photoshop a picture with two different stereo base (narrow lenses space for narrow subject + wider lenses space for background). But such picture is hard to built and need subject not too fast for hand sync.
I have to built a Z barre. Two LUMIX will be much better.

Close up of my Panasonic Lumix 3D1, the little 3D camera that I have come to love...use it all the time.

Speaking of the Lumix, here's a 3D video quickie, "No Pictures, Please."  You might get a chuckle out of it...maybe not.
