The 25 yards was based on my estimation of the distance to the scene being about 1/2 mile. I have shot this scene several times in the past and have used 25 yards for all of them. In the past they were all shot with black and white film. This one was shot with a digital camera for the first time.The others were all medium format film cameras. I am attaching the color version, although there is not much color in it. The other attachment is one I shot in 2001 with clouds going across it.

week #6 for 2014. It is of Half Dome from Mirror Lake in Yosemite. The cameras were 25 yards apart. It snowed the night before. You can see it in parallel or cross-eyed on my web site.
