Why Dubois ? This is a good question.....
I try to answer.....perhaps I'm wrong....
Years ago I tired to deghosting all of my images.....
I developed with Benardo Galmarini a deghosting method, named Analux 3d.
This method is in SPM too.
But going in the time ....the monitors and the backlight of the monitors changed....
CRT...LCD...LED backlight.....etc...
I noticed that if on my monitor I have a ghostless image, other people see ghosts because they have other type of monitor.....
Now I think that the best deghosting method is the good selection of the stereo base.....for anaglyphs.
Otherwise with the new 3D TVs the anaglyphs has less importance.....
So, now, for doing my images faster, I use only Dubois for anaglyphs....I found it more colorfull than other methods.
I must do the annotation too: anaglyph was invented for Black-and-White stereo images.
For printig anaglyphs ( color or BW) there is another big issue....
