This is how I made this image.
1 started mandelbulb
2 open a parameter file. I made no changes
3 calculate
4 make a folder Left and Right
5 save the image to the folder and label it left
6 back to preview at the bottom see 6 little arrows. a little box next to it change number to 1.click the arrow pointing to the right. image will rotate a little. I put a marker near a spot in the image to note how much it rotates. Each time you click on the arrow you have to recalculate to see how much it rotated, but you can also click again before you recalculate and it will rotate. I look for about 5 mm. I found out and I don't want to confuse you that that the rotation might be the opposite of what you choose. Not a problem.Call this the right image. You can switch images if necessary.
Save the image in the same folder as the the other one. Make 3D from images.
A good way to check for depth is to move mouse arrow over the image and if is is 3D the arrow will appear to be closer to some parts of the image than others.

Your XenoDream 3D is very good.

The Mandelbulb 3D is flat and has no depth. I will send you a couple I made and explain how I made them.

The best way to make 3D with one camera is rather easy. To get started simply place the camera on a flat surface and take a shot of something.Move the camera to the right a little. If the object is close move very little. The rule is the distance you move the camera should be 1/30 of the the distance to the nearest object. If the nearest object 30 feet away move camera 1 foot. Don't concern yourself with this rule.Just take a good guess. Make sure not to let the camera rotate when you move it. The first picture is the left. Save it as the left and the second one the right. and make your 3D from them. Another method is called the cha cha. Take a picture as you normally do putting your weight on the left leg then shift your weight to your right leg and take the second picture. The camera will shift enough to make a 3D pair.
