Hi John Mac, no in fact with Ipad and Google Moon or Mars it is very simple, you have just to shoot a first time your Ipad or else, than to turn gently a bit the planet with you finger and to shoot  second time, that all.
To detect with Pulfrich glasses some possible 2D video for extract 3D is also very simple. When you see 3D with this glasses** you have just to put your DVD or Blu Ray player on "STILL", too shoot a first picture, than to put again on "PLAY" (1 second no more generally), push again "STILL" button, to make the second shoot... that all. So simple !
Bellow is one of NAZCA (R/L) done by a French list member Mr Pierre Dottin from Google Earth (computer have also like a STILL button or " Impr Syst") easy to export to Photoshop.
Everybody can extract what I call  a "stereoscopisation" from 2D video.

** Pufrich glasses have a dark filter and a clear filter, the dark filter make one eye receive later the image, so video having a lateral move or a circular move or a tuning subject in front of one 2D camera not moving
permit to obtain a 4D (Time) stereogram, exactly like a Cha-Cha shoot. If you have not cheap Pulfrich glasses you can use a sun filter in front of one eye only (keep the eye without filter open of course). If you obtain speudoscopic effect put the filter on the other eye. Not working with still picture, need  subject or 2D camera move.
2D to 3D TV conversion circuit card use Pulfrich effect, so can well functioning with some part of video but not all.

Hi, Some months ago I shoot my IPAD  with Google Mars program and also with Google Moon program (Google Earth too of course), you have just to turn gently a bit with your finger the planet or the moon to permit a twin shoot for "stereoscopisation".
There is so many programs and 2D movies to permit stereo-extraction. But with Google I believe relief is false for some ! (see Pict "Mars07 canyon)
On 2D movie it is also so easy to detect possible stereo-extraction with Pulfrich glasses. Use of Pulfrich glasses also possible on Ipad, Iphone, if you found a good rotational speed with help of your finger.

3 types of Pulfrich glasses. Such glasses permit to detect possible "stereoscopisation"
and of course to see such 2D movie  (the scene detect with Pulfrich glasses) on  3D-TV having a 2D to 3D conversion circuit (using also Pulfrich before "stereo-transfer" for active or passive glasses) give a good stereoscopic result.





Try on Google Moon... with zoom on (cut necessary now)
