I had this idea of using a tin canister I had for a stereo image and composite an image of myself to try and make it look like I was inside the tin. I did another version of the canister with the lid off and resting on the counter beside it. In that one I'm climbing out of the tin but for now that one is only a 2D version. I took a cha cha of the tin (camera on tripod with self timer), which I set on the kitchen counter only because that's where the most natural light was reaching inside the house. I took another picture of myself to use for the person (me), inside the tin. I extracted the background and added it to the tin image. I did some manipulations for sizing, shadows, blurring edges, etc.
I used the same image of myself for Left and Right so I converted that section from 2D to 3D using SPM's clone tool.
In this anaglyph version, I was left with a greenish "me" no matter how I changed colors so for the heck of it I also did a B&W version. I'm posting the color version here however.
