Hi!
Time ago for coins in 3D, I used with big resluts a simple scanner.....one scan, move laterally the coin and another scan....
2 images, fantastic 3D results.

Thanks JM for the reply, I did not know you can shoot a coin in 3D without move of the camera but simply using light and shadow move.
Or if you shoot twice a old wall stones without move of the camera but with a time interval to permit sun to have change the shadow you can got a 3D.
I also sent you a picture of a Hobo nickel done by artist Mike Pezak   for me. If you put anaglyph glasses on you can see coin in 3D.

JM you are right I added depth because I like coins that are hand carved, kinda like a hobo nickel that we have in the USA. Hobo nickels are on Ebay if you want to see what they look like.

Nice work conversion but the depth is too much and not natural for a coin.

I did a quick conversion of a 1933 Budapest Hungary Train Tram Bus Token. I love the design on this coin, maybe Imre could translate what it says on the coin.
