Yes! The manual writes that 50 cm is the focus distance. I went closer...about  20-30 cm...of course the focus isnt so good...but in Stereo Photo Maker there is the "U" bottom.....( set up at 40 ) for shraper the image....I Think this is the goal....

Very good shots, Imre. What was your shortest distance from the near object? About 50cm? I am asking because that is the shortest distance that works with my Lumix 3D1 in spite of the display showing the red 3D warning sign as early as about 80cm. ?? J.V.
