My W3 was stolen last week.  I considered a 3D1 but purchase a W3 because most of my work is at distance and thought that the wider interocular of the W3 would be better at distance.  By the way, very vew W3's or 3d1's are available in the U.S. right now.  the new W3 is coming out of Japan.

have you done any work with the 3d1 at distances of perhaps 15 or 20 feet to see how the 3d compares to the W3 at the same distance?  I'm curious to know because the 3D1 has features the W3 lacks such as Image Stabilization.

Curious to know how they compare.
