Here's one I just got around to
making, from last year's Burning Man Festival. It's a wooden structure
that was positioned near the Temple. The Temple is at the far end of the
pentagonal "playa," which is what the open lake bed area is called. The
camps are arranged in circular parallel rows at the other end from the
Temple. The "Man" is positioned right in the center of the
pentagon/circle. There are usually religious or pseudo-religious events
taking place at the Temple at all times, and everyone is invited to
place memorials to departed loved ones around the perimeter, or to write
them on the wooden surfaces. The Temple is burned at the end of the
festival, the day after the Man is burned. When the Man is burned, there
is much joyous shouting and dancing, but when the Temple is burned, the
usual mood is quiet reverence. Pentax Optio, cha-cha, PS. Please
forgive the minor cha-cha artifacts.
