Wow, very nice! And an interesting bit of history. The planes appear to be B-24's. B-29's were initially intended for use in Japan.

I made some cha-cha shoot on my TV (TF1 channel) during a 2D video showing a short sample of the 3D movie (you can see it in Paris to the Geode of la Vilette).
But on my 3D shoot of the 2D video sample I got some parts with speudoscopic effect (not same speed of clouds and planes or opposite lateral move).
Of course the real 3D movie have not those troubles.

So RL give planes in 3D and ships and clouds speudoscopic. If RL you got the inverse (right 3D on clouds and ships but not on plane).

Of course this picture will need many adjustment, but I have no time for actually. So just take it like a news a 3D movie of D-Day exist now.
