A few years ago we spotted some of these Washington Lilies along a road for the first time. Even though we drive past them several times a week, neither of us had ever noticed them. They don?t last long. Since then, we?ve found them in many other spots, always around the 4th of July and between 4000 and 7000 feet.
How could we have missed them for thirty years??
