Brian, thanks for your comment, I thought it looked cool the leather straps on the horses and the driver told me their purpose.

Nice Larry.  I never saw those kind of leather straps before, but then again, I'm not around that kind of thing much.

This 3D was taken at Greenfield Village, notice the fly swatters on the horses. These small straps of leather would move with the horses and shake the flies of them.
