Looks like a ?standard? hike length to ?my? lakes in CO. If there is a shorter trail the number of hikers grow exponentially.
This was five or six miles up from the Eagle Falls Trailhead on Hwy 89, Lake Tahoe. If you don?t get there by 9 or so, there?s no parking. most folks just walk up a quarter mile or so. We did a loop of about 14 miles and visited numerous lakes. We didn?t swim at Secret Lake (our name for it), just waded. Fairly shallow lake. Still had a few patches of snow on the granite above, but the water was warm. Much warmer than back up the trail at Dicks Lake and Fontanillis.
