You are right Flash, the first sculpture is the Alamo cube in NYC, the Endover is the second to be made by Tony Rosenthal. The Endover spins around freely, I think the NYC  Alamo one does not move, am I correct?

Nice shot and "selfie" Larry. There's a copy of this same sculpture here in NYC, in Astor Place, near the Cooper Union. I Googled Tony Rosenthal and was sad to find he passed away not long ago.

U Of M Central Campus; Regents' Plaza
Gift of the Class of 1965 and the artist, who was a U-M alumnus (?36). Although seemingly massive and immovable, the Cube actually rotates on its axis, given a gentle push. The Cube measures 15 feet wide by 15 feet tall.
The old man in the picture is me.
