Larry,

Last time I saw the Alamo cube in NYC it was able to rotate. I haven't been down there in many months, but I suspect it still can.

You are right Flash, the first sculpture is the Alamo cube in NYC, the Endover is the second to be made by Tony Rosenthal. The Endover spins around freely, I think the NYC  Alamo one does not move, am I correct?

Nice shot and "selfie" Larry. There's a copy of this same sculpture here in NYC, in Astor Place, near the Cooper Union. I Googled Tony Rosenthal and was sad to find he passed away not long ago.

Gift of the Class of 1965 and the artist, who was a U-M alumnus (?36). Although seemingly massive and immovable, the Cube actually rotates on its axis, given a gentle push. The Cube measures 15 feet wide by 15 feet tall.
The old man in the picture is me.
