The Bir-Hakeim bridge (named after a WWII battle fought in 1942 in the desert
in Libya) has two levels: the lower for traffic and the upper for the
subway.
I like this place as you can (normally) see the subway emerge from
the side of the hill to cross the river Seine.
"Normally" as the bridge is
currently under repair and no trains are using it.
The building are part of
the 16th district of Paris, considered as one of the richest (and certainly the
poshest) of the 20 districts of Paris.
