Somehow, while conversing with
this couple at Downs Park, I got around to mentioning my digital 3D
camera. It was in my pocket since I was mainly taking photos with the
Nikon and 300mm lens. I tried showing them a couple of 3D images on the
camera but they were not good examples so I asked to take their picture
and show them that.
The couple had 3 kids and as I was
composing this shot their small girl came into the frame from the
background. I noticed her and timed the shutter release when she was
hidden directly behind them. We were standing on the overlook deck for
the pond which has more turtles than I've ever seen in one place. It
also has lots of fish and occasionally you will see some waterfowl such
as the Great Blue Heron. One flew by us that day.
