I love seeing the evening sunlight back-lighting the tops of these
tall grasses which grow in my neighbor's yard
. Unfortunately the best angle to see the grasses illuminated also
puts the sun directly in the frame of the image so I moved to an angle and tried
to hold one hand up to block the suns glare on the camera lens as I took the
shot with the other hand. I suppose that's one advantage of the compact
size of the W1.
At this angle, it also helped that I'm a little bit ambidextrous, having to hold
the camera in the left hand and push the shutter button
simultaneously.
I gave the image a little extra contrast to try and make the
subject "pop", otherwise I probably would not have bothered with the FW.
