Here is a close look at two of the fungi discussed in my last post. One is almost intact - just a small amount has been eaten by slugs, and the solid insides can be seen. The other has been hollowed out by slugs. When I started shooting I thought the small slug was still. It turns out it was moving slowly, just enough to make a single-camera stereo shot difficult - this shot was my best try.
